This week at our April Stakeholder Forum, we were pleased to welcome over 100 colleagues representing approximately 60 different organisations from across industry. We discussed a range of topics all focused on OTS readiness with a spotlight on integration testing.
David Norbury, our Head of Delivery, shared some statistics from the integration test programme. We are seeing activity growing month on month, with participation by CPs with a combined market- share of 97%. David also shared some examples of testing profiles we are observing. The most advanced profile shows a large volume of messages sent and received, covering all message types, over a sustained period of time and with a number of partner CPs. This suggests a high degree of OTS readiness, and this is the profile that we would like to see all CPs achieve. To support this, we will be intensifying our engagement with CPs in integration testing. We are also introducing a more comprehensive set of self-certification criteria. This will help ensure that those entering production environment are fully ready for OTS go-live, which is in the interests of all hub users and of residential consumers.
If you are not yet in integration testing, it's crucial that you begin your journey. We are here to help, so if you are unsure of how to get started please contact us.
We were also joined by Richard Warner from the OTA2 who will be co-chairing the new OTS Operations Forum. As mentioned last week, we're eager to hear from anyone with operational knowledge within your organisations to join the Forum. If you have the time and the relevant expertise, please take a moment to review the terms of reference (see Bulletin 53) and fill in a short form to apply for membership.
Lastly, I wanted to remind you of the series of operational information sharing sessions we have kicked off. These sessions delve into critical topics such as incident and change management, invoicing and payments, and system monitoring and surveillance. Our goal is to bolster our collective readiness for the One Touch Switch. Book your place on the session of your choice here.
That’s all from me this week. Have a great weekend.
Paul
