Today, I am proud to share that we have reached a major industry milestone – one million switches successfully completed through the One Touch Switch (OTS) process since go-live on 12 September last year!
This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of the entire industry. It shows how far we’ve come in making switching quicker, easier, and more reliable.
The OTS process is now well established, and we’re seeing the positive results of our combined efforts. As providers and MAPs have become more familiar with OTS, we’ve noticed a significant reduction in issues and enquiries while the overall match-rate has risen gradually since go-live from 60% to a current value of around 67%. This demonstrates the effectiveness of the process and the collective commitment across industry to continuous improvement.
Our business switching solution remains on track, with connection testing set to open from the end of May. As promised, next week we will publish the price list for our solution, along with clear guidance on how Communication Providers and Managed Access Providers can sign up and get involved. This is an important step in ensuring that the business sector can benefit from streamlined switching in the same way that consumers already do.
This week, our team also attended the ISPA Summit, where we engaged in valuable and thought-provoking conversations. It was a great opportunity to share insights, discuss challenges, and gather ideas on how we can continue to support the industry’s evolving needs.
