TOTSCo

In the first week of One Touch Switch operation, we have seen over 40 brands place some 26,000 OTS switch orders, with 3,500 successful completions. Currently, over 230 brands are listed in the live directory, of which 170 are using a Full Management Managed Access Provider (MAP). The hub has achieved 100% availability, and average latency is well within SLA (Service Level Agreement). You can track our progress here; we update the statistics on a daily basis.

While we are all delighted with this strong start, we recognise that significant work remains for the entire industry to achieve 100% of switches processed using OTS. Two key areas of focus are improving match success rates and addressing the remaining CP-side system defects. We are actively supporting industry in their performance-improvement initiatives.

We are noticing that direct communication between hub users is an important enabler in much of this performance-improvement activity. The CP-to-CP communication tool which went live last week is one way to communicate with any other CP in the live directory. While use is voluntary, we would encourage all users to sign up for it. Please sign up today!

Many of the issues we're encountering can be easily resolved by following the best practice guides. It’s much quicker to benefit from the accumulated learning and thinking that has gone into these, than to find out the hard way and reinvent pre-existing solutions!

The industry working groups which we co-chair with OTA2 have been instrumental in industry preparations for OTS and continue to play a vital role as we transition into live operations. The working groups post meeting minutes here and the groups provide regular updates at our Stakeholder Forums. If you would like to join the newly formed OTS Operations Forum, please find out more by reviewing the terms of reference, and to express your interest in joining contact us at [email protected].

Next week, on 25 September, we will hold our next Stakeholder Forum where we will celebrate our collective success, review our progress, discuss the challenges we've encountered, and outline our plans as we advance in OTS live operations. If you have a specific topic you would like us to cover or a question to submit, please reach out—we’d love to hear from you!

That’s all from me folks, I look forward to seeing many of you next week.

Many thanks,

Paul
