One of our priorities this week is preparing for the launch of the enhancements to our Account Management Portal which will be deployed over the weekend. Today, we sent a reminder email with important calls to action to portal users about the exciting new features coming on 15 July.
These enhancements include adding a brand to your account, which will be represented in the directory, and providing your colleagues with appropriate access to manage tickets, billing, technical issues, reports, and security. A User Guide, along with helpful short videos, will be sent next week to explain how to take advantage of these changes.
As part of this change, for those users who haven’t completed commercial onboarding and as we’ve previously communicated, we will be offboarding you with an email on next steps.
With just over two months until the OTS go-live, I'm pleased to see engagement from a growing number of CPs, many of which are using Managed Access Provider (MAP) services. MAPs play a crucial role in supporting industry readiness, have been a key part of the testing and onboarding programme and will continue to play a vital part in industry progress towards OTS go-live.
I wanted to address some questions we've received about Production Implementation Testing (PIT). Our advisory deadline of 18 July to book your PIT should encourage everyone to get in touch early, helping us manage our capacity to ensure we can accommodate all the necessary slots before OTS go-live on 12 September. While integration testing must be completed before PIT is performed, we encourage you to book your PIT as soon as possible.
I wanted to take this opportunity to highlight the excellent work the OTS Industry Progress Group has done in creating best practice guides and guidance for industry. These guides are designed to support everyone as they prepare for OTS. We've noticed some common mistakes that have come to light during testing, such as over-validating messages before sending a synchronous response, which have resulted in delay. Familiarising yourself with the best-practice guidance can help avoid these issues, saving you precious time and money.
That’s all from me this week folks, don’t forget if you need our support, please get in touch.
Have a great weekend,
Paul
