This week, our focus has intensified on strengthening our integration test process with the right exit criteria and working with industry to define industry trials (using live data). We want to make sure we are doing all we can to support industry in proving their end-to-end OTS journeys which will pave the way to a successful OTS. We’ll provide more information as soon as it’s available.
In the meantime, our priority continues to be on supporting everyone in industry, from onboarding through to end-to-end testing using the hub. While next week we are preparing for more stakeholders to enter integration testing, one of my main concerns is industry’s slow engagement in initiating their OTS journey. I cannot emphasise enough how crucial it is to reach out to us and get started today. We have an Industry Readiness Team ready and available to support you through each stage.
While many users have successfully completed their connection testing using our simulator and are now in the integration test stage, we recognise that there are some users who need an extended period of development and testing time to achieve a connection and pass the simulator testing phase. Please factor this possibility into your plans and reach out to our Industry Readiness team for assistance. Please make sure you’re using the most recent TOTSCo Hub FQDN and IP document version 4 available from our service desk.
As the OTS go-live date gets closer, we are coming along to many industry events to address your concerns and answer your questions. Recently, we joined the Switching and Special Wholesale Group meeting, and I’m excited to attend the upcoming INCA conference. Additionally, our monthly Stakeholder Forum is scheduled for next week, where we’ll provide routine updates and introduce a new section called ‘Voice from Industry’. We’re delighted to have Marcel Horst from CWP coming along on behalf of the Managed Access Providers to share their experiences in preparing for OTS.
I look forward to the various events next week. Your questions and feedback are vital for our growth and improvement. I would love to hear from as many of you as possible to hear your queries or thoughts you have.
Have a great weekend.
All the best,
Paul Bradbury
