Friday's reflections from the desk of CEO Paul Bradbury

23 February 2024

This week, our key focus has been refining the support around the live environment for the upcoming industry trials and One Touch Switch (OTS) go-live. We are initiating a series of information-sharing sessions with industry, covering service, incident, and change management. Soon, these sessions will be available for booking on our website. More information to come.

Today, we published bulletin 46, our response to the industry feedback we received on the industry trials proposal, (bulletin 42). We aim to announce a new planned go-live date for OTS shortly, at which time we will share further details of the proposed content and timing of different phases of trials, entry and exit criteria, as well as eligibility, and we will invite feedback before finalising the proposal and the date.

With the numbers participating in the testing program having plateaued now for many weeks, I anticipate that the announcement of the new planned go-live date will generate momentum, inspiring more of you to embark on your OTS journeys. If you want support starting your journey, please reach out to us – we are here to help.

As you commence your OTS journey, an essential step is signing the User Agreement (UA) with us. Soon, this will become a mandatory step before you can take part in the test programme. Rest assured; we will give you ample notice when this becomes applicable. If you’ve commercially onboarded, the UA is ready in the portal for your signature via DocuSign. For those still in the onboarding process, we will send the UA to you. Feel free to contact us with any questions.

As you may be aware, we have established working groups to foster collaboration and harness our collective expertise and knowledge within the industry. The OTS Industry Process Group consistently provides valuable insights and best practice guides, with the latest included in bulletin 45. Currently, there are open positions for those interested in joining this important group, offering an opportunity to contribute and make a difference. To learn more get in touch with us.

That’s all from me this week, folks. Remember, our monthly Stakeholder Forum is just around the corner on Wednesday, 28 February, from 1 pm to 3 pm. The agenda is available on our website, and if you have any agenda items to propose or questions to submit beforehand, we’d love to hear from you.

All the best

Paul
