29 September 2023
After meeting so many hub users at Connected Britain last week, it was wonderful to build on this engagement with the September Stakeholder Forum (see our website for the presentation and recording) and by attending the CCUK awards ceremony on Thursday. Achieving One Touch Switch is an industry-wide initiative, and we are looking for every opportunity to hear about progress and what could be improved.
At this month’s forum I emphasised the urgency to come along and onboard to start your testing journey with us. While the planned OTS date of March 14th might appear distant, there’s significant work ahead, and we don’t want anyone to be left behind, so let’s get started together.
We provided a comprehensive step-by-step walkthrough of integration testing, which can be found on our website. If you need further support, please reach out to us. We are here to help. To ensure you have the best possible support during your OTS journey, we’ve expanded our team, so we are fully prepared to assist you every step of the way.
In terms of further hub connectivity, API Key and mTLS will be available from 20 October. If you are planning on using these protocols, please book a testing slot with us now by emailing us.
Additionally, at this month’s Stakeholder Forum, we had a special guest – Jack Abbotts from OTA, who shared valuable insights on number porting. We want to facilitate more industry-wide discussions on any topics that are directly or indirectly linked to OTS implementation. If you would like to speak, please contact us.
Lastly, regarding the TOTSCo Board, I wanted to make you aware that the term of the Directors elected by the Business Focused and Small Retailer constituencies are coming to an end. We have contacted members of those constituencies, and set in train the appointment process outlined in our Articles of Association. We will keep you all updated on progress. (Just a reminder – you don’t have to be a member of the company to use the hub. But members get to vote at the AGM and for Directors. To find out more about membership and to see a list of our current members go to ……. New applications are always welcome.)
That’s all from me folks.
Enjoy the weekend.
All the best
Paul
