TOTSCo

This week, we are preparing for the most important milestone before OTS go-live: the launch of public switches, beginning next week. As detailed in the TOTSCo Path to One Touch Switch Go-Live v2, the last stage of industry trials is called the ‘Ramp,’ during which we will gradually increase the volume of switches to continue to validate the process and technology before OTS go-live on 12th September.

Don’t forget, Industry trials are conducted on behalf of the entire industry, ensuring that all Communications Providers (CPs) benefit from the progress and results. We share the weekly progress here along with industry lessons learned. Industry Trials began in March, and since then, significant efforts have been made in testing and validating the OTS process through both technical and staff trials. This work is ongoing to ensure everything is ready for go-live.

Have you booked your Production Implementation Test (PIT)? Everyone will need to have a simple PIT test before joining the live hub to check your connection. We published a deadline date of 18 July to book your PIT to make sure we can accommodate all the necessary slots before OTS go-live on 12 September.  While integration testing must be completed before PIT is performed, we encourage you to book your PIT as soon as possible.

Check your Brand Name – need help? Watch this 1min how-to video. Last week, we launched enhancements to the Account Management Portal, including the ability to give colleagues permissions to manage various tasks such as tickets, billing, security, and a new reporting capability. We have also added a brand name to your account instead of the original organisation name you provided when you opened your account. It's crucial that you log into the portal and check your brand name, as this name will be used in the directory download. If you would like to amend your brand name or perhaps add any aliases or names your organisation is known by, please contact the service desk.

Next week, on Wednesday, 24 July, we will hold the penultimate Stakeholder Forum before OTS go-live. What would you like on the agenda? We will provide updates on our progress, reiterate the path to go-live, and outline the steps you need to take to prepare for OTS go-live. We would like to hear from you so we can tailor the content to meet your needs. If you have any agenda items or questions you would like addressed, please contact us

That’s all from me this week folks, don’t forget if you need our support, please get in touch.

Have a great weekend,

Paul
