Friday's reflections from the desk of CEO Paul Bradbury
22 December 2023
It has been another busy week, even if we all have one eye on the break ahead.
Following last week’s announcement of a delay to the planned OTS go-live date, we issued bulletin 40 updating our invoicing arrangements, to create financial certainty for CPs and ensure TOTSCo can continue to meet its financial commitments in view of the delay.
We also published our new TOTSCo User Guide. This has been designed to be your companion as you embark on your One Touch Switch (OTS) journey. It walks you through every step, from the initial engagement and onboarding, all the way to testing on the TOTSCo Hub and managing your account. It is a living document that we will update and add to as we progress.
We held our first Annual General Meeting, on Monday. The board and I were delighted to be joined by members and others from across industry. A key part of the meeting was walking through the TOTSCo Management Report which is available on our website for you to read. We also made available our audited accounts for the period to March 2023, which you can now view on Companies House here.
Finally, we published our proposed approach to Industry Trials, and look forward to receiving your feedback. Trials will be performed by a restricted number of CPs for the benefit of all hub users, to prove the OTS process using live switches. The number of switches in trials will ramp up to OTS go-live, and the results and learnings will be shared regularly with all hub users.
As we move into the festive break, I think that we can all reflect on the tremendous progress that we have made in the journey to One Touch Switch. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone at TOTSCo, Tech Mahindra, CPs and elsewhere.
I extend my warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. See you all in 2024!
Paul
