Since go-live 220,000 switch orders have been placed with 120,000 successfully completed, and there are now 280 brands in the live directory. After the NOT+ decommissioning last week, we’ve noticed an increase in volume, and we look forward to this growth continuing. The match success rate is stable at 60% (although the customer experience will be better than this due to multiple match attempts) and we look forward to sharing the findings of the OTA 2’s review of matching improvement activities as soon as these are available.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our October Halloween Stakeholder Forum this week! You can access the recording and presentation materials here

If you attend the Stakeholder Forums you will know that the agenda majors on operational issues and is led by TOTSCo’s Executive team. Our upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a vital component of our governance framework and is your chance to interact directly with TOTSCo’s board members on any matter relating to our operations or governance. Given our role in all OTS switching transactions, TOTSCo’s governance arrangements and practise are essential to giving industry assurance that we are making decisions in the right way, considering the legitimate interests of all industry sectors. The AGM will take place online, on 26 November at 2pm. We will present our audited annual report and accounts and our management report and will invite questions. We would like to encourage all stakeholders to attend – more details will follow soon.

Continuing on the governance theme and as per Bulletin 72, Jeremy Chelot, who has served as the Constituency Director for the New Infrastructure Providers, will be stepping down from his position effective 28 November 2024. We are now seeking interested candidates to apply for the role of Constituency Director. Please express your interest by contacting us at [email protected] by 5pm on Tuesday, 12 November 2024.

Here are a few other important points from the forum:

GPLB (Business) switching: We are currently exploring how TOTSCo can adapt our OTS service to offer a business switching solution. More information will be provided soon.

Integration and Test Environments: we confirmed that integration and test environments will remain permanent features of our service, ensuring ongoing support for your operational needs.

Change Management Process: we provided a detailed overview of our change-management process, along with the process guidelines and form for any required entries. A change pipeline will also be published soon, and we committed to provide ample notice for any changes to allow you time to prepare.

*CP-to-CP Communication Tool: we encouraged more organisations to join the 63 users already signed up for the CP-to-CP communication tool, which grows more valuable as more organisations participate.

*Outage calendar: this tool informs the community about both planned and unplanned outages. We highlighted the user guide (see page 11) containing instructions on how and when to use the tool, and we invite anyone interested in a demo to contact us.

That’s all from me folks, have a good weekend.

Many thanks,

Paul

CEO, TOTSCo

* Those using a full management MAP don’t need to sign up to the CP-to-CP tool as your FM MAP will sign up on your behalf.
