We are writing to bring to your attention an announcement this morning by Ofcom regarding the
temporary extension of the Notification of Transfer (NOT+) beyond the OTS go-live date of 12
September. Here is Ofcom’s letter, which will be published on its website later this week and is also
being distributed through OTA2.
As highlighted in the letter, the One Touch Switch go-live date remains 12 September 2024. The timelimited
extension of NOT+ provides consumer protection in certain cases while CPs optimise their
systems. This announcement does not impact the path to OTS go-live for CPs or indeed for TOTSCo.
On 12 September we will add to the current production directory those brands which have
completed the necessary testing and other steps. We also remain dedicated to supporting those still
at earlier stages of their OTS journey.
