Eight weeks since the launch of One Touch Switch, over 260,000 switch requests have been placed, with 150,000 successfully completed. Last week was a record week, perhaps due to NOT+ decommissioning and school half-term.
You can stay up to date with our progress on our website, where we post daily updates on the latest stats.
Switch match success is still around 60% with a slight dip this week due to some CP system issues. As I have mentioned previously, the customer experience will be better than this as some of these messages are repeat attempts to match the same customer.
One important tool to support a smooth OTS operation is the outage calendar (see page 11 of our User Guide for more info). The tool provides a way for TOTSCo and all users to notify the community about both planned and unplanned outages. For example, there is an outage on the TOTSCo Hub for one hour on 17 November (outside standard business hours). Details have been posted on the outage calendar as well as a notification sent to all users.
Thank you to everyone who submitted their customer numbers for this year (as of 30 June). Invoices will be issued in batches starting next week and continuing through the end of the month. You’ll be notified once your invoice is ready.
As I mentioned last week, our second Annual General Meeting will be held on 26 November. It’s a great opportunity to engage with our Board of Directors and key members of TOTSCo’s Executive team. You’ll have the chance to discuss the organisation's governance, review its performance to date, and explore the challenges facing TOTSCo and the industry in the year ahead. We encourage you to join us and ask any questions you may have. Look out for an email next week.
Lastly, I wanted to remind you, Tuesday is the deadline for registering your interest for the role of Constituency Director (role description can be found here) for New Infrastructure Providers. Please express your interest by contacting us at [email protected] by 5pm on Tuesday, 12 November 2024.
That’s all from me folks, have a good weekend.
Many thanks,
Paul
CEO, TOTSCo
