TOTSCo

This week marks six weeks until the go-live of One Touch Switch. Testing activity continues  increasing across the test program. July saw around 90,000 messages exchanged in the pre-production environment (integration testing) and in industry trials, we now have nine brands in the ramp, where OTS is being used for residential consumer switches. So far in the ramp we have seen over 160 orders placed, and the volume will now increase sharply each week.

You can review our weekly industry trials progress here, along the participant list and lessons learned.

As promised in bulletin 63, we have now published the brands in pre-production (integration testing), which can be found in our document centre on our website, here.

I am glad to see an increase in Production Implementation Tests booked. A PIT is a necessity for everyone unless you are connecting through a full management MAP, before you can go into the live environment. Please book your PIT slot as soon as possible by contacting our service desk.

Yesterday, we published Bulletin 67, which revises the guidance on receiving HTTP messages from the Hub. In response to your feedback, the OTS Industry Process Group quickly reviewed, re-wrote, and re-issued the information. I would like to thank everyone involved for their rapid turnaround on this important update.

Today, we are publishing our TOTSCo Service Manual, outlining the services we provide to ensure the smooth running of the Hub and the seamless operation of OTS. We will be adding to the document as we progress.

Lastly, a reminder for those of you who have onboarded with us: please check in the portal how your brand name appears in the directory download. If you need help, watch our 1-minute how-to video! You can also add colleagues into your account to manage various activities, watch our how-to video if you need help. You can also provide customer and sales assist URLs to the portal which will be included in the directory.

To finish, I wanted to acknowledge the huge effort across industry going into ensuring OTS is a success. While we facilitate and co-chair the OTS work groups, it’s important to remember the work is driven by industry for industry. Thank you to everyone involved, for all your hard work. The team and I are committed to listening to all your feedback to make this a success for the whole of industry.
