In my last blog of the year, I want to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone. What a year it’s been! Together, we’ve achieved something truly remarkable: the successful launch of One Touch Switch (OTS), a testament to collaboration, innovation, and sheer determination from everyone involved.
We now have 305 brands listed in the live directory, with an impressive 490,000 switch orders placed and 343,000 switches completed. In November alone the hub processed 1.8 million messages sent by 282 brands, a demonstration of the breadth of OTS use across industry.
As we head into the holiday season, I want to reassure you that despite the festivities, our commitment to service remains unwavering. The hub will continue to be monitored 24/7, ensuring smooth operations and immediate support whenever needed.
As I mentioned this week during the last Stakeholder Forum of the year (catch up here if you missed it), as we look to 2025, there’s still much more to do. Our priorities include the launch of our GPLB Business Switching Solution, while industry will also need to apply the findings of the OTA2 report on matching, you can find here. In terms of engagement for next year, our first Stakeholder Forum of 2025 is set for 13 February, from 1pm to 3pm. In this session, we’ll provide the usual updates on OTS operations and share more about TOTSCo’s GPLB Business Switching Solution.
