Published 6 December

This week we published some really important updates, starting with the OTA2 One Touch Switch (OTS) Matching Review Report, via bulletin 76. This report, commissioned by Ofcom and prepared by OTA2, identifies critical areas where improvements are needed to enhance matching success rates for customers. We strongly encourage all stakeholders to review it thoroughly and to identify and action any necessary changes to their systems and processes.

In addition to the OTA2 report, we’ve also published our latest bulletin updating you on the TOTSCo Gaining Provider Led Business (GPLB) Switching Solution. This bulletin details our approach to developing a cost-effective, efficient solution for business switching, target timelines for delivery, and how stakeholders can get involved. If you haven’t already, please take a moment to read the bulletin and register your interest in business switching.

I recognise that this is a busy trading period for the industry, so I am pleased to report that the hub has performed exceptionally well under the increased volumes. On Cyber Monday alone, we saw a record 9,417 switch orders, contributing to a total of 45,577 switch orders placed this week.

To date, we’ve processed a total of 434,000 switch orders, with 276,000 successfully completed. Additionally, our live directory now features 300 brands.

Finally, a quick reminder that our AGM is taking place this Tuesday from 9.30 – 10.30am via Teams. We encourage all stakeholders to attend, as we’ll be covering important updates and looking ahead to 2025. If you’d like to attend, please contact us on [email protected]

That’s all from me folks, have a good weekend.

Many thanks,

Paul

CEO, TOTSCo
