Following further consultation with stakeholders this week, we are now in a position to progress our Gaining Provider-Led Business (GPLB) Switching Solution. We will be sharing it with the industry for feedback imminently.
Meanwhile, the operation of the hub continues to perform effectively, with 8.9 million messages processed since OTS go-live. Switching volumes are steadily increasing, with 810,000 orders placed and 550,000 successfully completed. This growing adoption reinforces the hub’s ability to handle increasing volumes, providing a strong foundation as we move towards enabling business switching.
As we highlighted at the Stakeholder Forum, there was a need to clarify that the document freeze ended at OTS go-live on 12 September 2024. Bulletin 81, now confirms this, reinforcing that updates and refinements can continue across all aspects of our OTS processes and systems. All change requests will follow the rigorous OTS Industry Change Control Process to ensure they are carefully managed and assessed. If you wish to submit a change request, please review the Change Control Process, complete a Change Request Form and send it to [email protected].
Looking ahead, next week we will be publishing our 2025/26 budget for feedback. Since TOTSCo’s costs are funded by the industry, transparency is key. We will follow the same process as last year, seeking your input before finalising the budget. We encourage you to review it and share your thoughts.
Finally, a last reminder for those interested in applying for the role of Small Retail Provider Constituency Director. As previously mentioned, Andrew Glover will be stepping down from the role, with his departure effective 4 March 2025. You do not need to be a TOTSCo member to apply. If you're interested, please submit your expression of interest by contacting us at [email protected] no later than 5pm today, Friday, 21 February 2024.
That all from me folks.
Have a great weekend.
Paul
CEO, TOTSCo
