Bulletin No.38 – User Agreement v1.1

TOTSCo is pleased to announce the release of the User Agreement v1.1.
For ease of reference, both documents are available in ‘clean’ and ‘marked up’ formats on our website, allowing those familiar with the earlier versions to easily spot the changes.
Bulletin No.37 – Best Practice Guides released

TOTSCo is pleased to announce the release of a number of best practice guides that have been produced by the Industry Process Group:
- Message Examples v1.0
- Addition Guidance on Exception Scenarios v1.0
- The NBICS and Number Porting v0.2 – for feedback by 1 December
The Message Examples and the Additional Guidance on Exception Scenarios documents are released as v1.0 following feedback on their previous iterations.
The NBICS and Number Porting v0.2 is released for industry feedback. The document provides best practice guidance on aligning the number port process with OTS. Please provide any comments to enquiries@totsco.org.uk by 01/12/2023.
Bulletin No.36 – Corrected Specifications Released by TOTSCo

TOTSCo is pleased to share the updated versions of two key documents:
- the Message Specification v1.1c
- the API Specification v1.1a
We’ve implemented these updates under a ‘change freeze’ condition, primarily due to the necessity of these corrections. These amendments address potential errors and inconsistencies that could have arisen if not addressed.
Bulletin No.35 – Release of Best Practice Guides

Both documents have been created and reviewed by the OTS Industry Process Group (IPG).
Bulletin No.34 – Managed Access Solutions and Pricing

TOTSCo announces the publication of Managed Access Provider (MAP) Pricing. This bulletin has been created to explain the three types of Managed Access Solution and their services offered and their associated costs.
We will be running dedicated online ‘How to Engage with a MAP’ information sharing and Q&A sessions.

Bulletin No.32 – Release of One Touch Switch Message Examples v0.1
TOTSCo is pleased to announce the release of the One Touch Switch Message Examples v0.1.
This document serves as a reference guide for constructing messages tailored to specific scenarios and service combinations, with a primary focus on match requests and match confirmations.
While the document is currently in draft form, our Industry Process Group will continue to enhance and expand its content. We welcome your feedback, especially if you believe there are scenarios that should be included but aren’t. Please share your insights with us by emailing enquiries@totsco.org.uk by 3 November 2023, and the Industry Process Group will thoroughly review and discuss the feedback provided.
Bulletin No.31 – Release of new authentication protocols and self-service functionality
Today, TOTSCo is pleased to announce the release of new authentication protocols. In addition to OAuth2, we’re introducing API Key and mTLS, all available in our simulator and integration testing environments.
Additionally, for those who have completed commercial onboarding, we are enabling self-service functionality in your account management portal, with the ability to:
- Raise, track or update a fault or enquiry ticket
- View, amend or add your technical information, such as endpoints
- Enable legal entities to add additional brands
Bulletin No.30 – Document Change Freeze
TOTSCo today announces a change freeze for all mandatory One Touch Switch (OTS) documents. This is effective from 6 October to OTS go-live. This is to provide stability for industry as they prepare for OTS go-live.

TOTSCo is pleased to announce the release of:
- One Touch Switch Matching Best Practice Guide v1.0
- One Touch Switch Match Request and Response Scenarios v1.0 matrix
- One Touch Switch Response Codes v1.0.

Bulletin No.28 – One Touch Switch Message Delivery Policies v1.0
TOTSCo announces the release of the One Touch Switch Message Delivery Policies v1.0. This follows our request for feedback on a draft version in July. It details how the hub will attempt to deliver messages between CPs.
Bulletin No.27 – One Touch Switch Open Orders Best Practice Guide v0.2
TOTSCo is pleased to announce the release of the One Touch Switch Open Orders Best Practice Guide v0.2.
The Open Orders Best Practice Guide offers guidance on how to proceed when a customer has an open order on their account, such as a cease order or a technology regrade, at the time when match requests and switch order requests are received.

Bulletin No.25 – User Agreement and Schedules
We publish today our proposed User Agreement and draft User Agreement schedules for industry feedback by Friday 15 September 2023. Please provide comments by emailing us on enquiries@totsco.org.uk. Bulletin No.24 – Release of TOTSCo Hub API Specification v1.1
TOTSCo can confirm the release of TOTSCo Hub API Specification v1.1. This document contains the additional API keys and mutual Transport Layer Security (mTLS) security implementation options.
Please note that API Key and mTLS will be available in our test environments from 20 October.

Bulletin No.22 – One Touch Switch go-live on 14 March 2024
For industry to achieve a successful OTS implementation, it is essential for all parties to focus their planning on a common date. After considering views from a variety of industry stakeholders, including Ofcom, the planned go-live date is Thursday 14 March 2024.

Bulletin No.21 – Access to TOTSCo Hub for Integration Testing starts 4 September
We are very pleased to announce that from 4 September, the TOTSCo Hub will be open for Integration testing, specifically, CP-to-CP testing using test data in a test environment. Our updated TOTSCo Hub Delivery Roadmap outlines the updated timetable to take you from initial connection testing to full integration with the hub in the live environment.

Bulletin No.20 – TOTSCo One Touch Switch (“OTS”) Charging Structure – proposal and request for feedback
This paper proposes a charging structure for TOTSCo hub use for OTS in the period 2023 – 2025. We would like to hear your views on this proposal. Please send your responses, limited to one per company, by Friday 11 August to enquiries@totsco.org.uk.

Bulletin No.19 – Release of TOTSCo Hub API Specification v1.0
TOTSCo can confirm the release of TOTSCo Hub API Specification v1.0. This document contains the Directory API and oAuth2 security implementation.
Following industry feedback, we will be adding the security implementation options to use API keys and mutual Transport Layer Security (mTLS) when connecting to the hub. A further API Spec featuring these additions will be released in due course.
Bulletin No.18 – Reponses and Conclusions to request for feedback on Data Reporting Bulletin No.5
We recently requested your views on the reporting, to industry and Ofcom, of data from the TOTSCo hub for the purpose of monitoring the OTS process (see Bulletin 5). This bulletin publishes the responses and our proposed way forward.
Bulletin No.17 –Industry Test Group (ITG) Application for Membership
Purpose of this Bulletin is to formally launch our Industry Test Groups, sharing the Terms of Reference and inviting membership of test groups.
Any interested parties need to review the Terms of Reference to ensure you meet the criteria and complete a short form to apply for membership by Friday 21 July 2023.

Bulletin No.13 – 13 June 2023
Release of TOTSCo Hub API Specification V0.5 (superseded, see Bulletin No.14)
TOTSCo can confirm the release of TOTSCo Hub API Specification V0.5.
This document features the finalised Letterbox API specification, including envelope elements and the validation process. We are diligently working towards finalising the directory API and security implementation, and we will issue a definitive version as soon as this process is completed.
